Skilled in educational leadership, social studies curriculum design, instruction, assessment, and educational technology. Passionate about identifying patterns of human behavior and society and connecting them to student's lived experiences with the aim that they see themselves as agents of change in a challenging world.

Passions
Cycling
My curiosity about the world and general restlessness have pushed me to take up bicycle touring. I have completed many long distance tours including most recently from the Canadian border to the California coast.
Community Work
I still maintain deep roots in my hometown of Saint Paul, Minnesota. My curiosity about the world began in this diverse community. I continue to engage with causes that I am passionate about there, particularly education and housing justice.
Travel
Seeing the world and the different ways of life of people around it will always be enriching for me. Understanding and respecting different cultures is the essential foundation for my career as an educator.
